Bug Description
On a Lenovo Thinkpad X230 Tablet, since upgrade to Trusty, onboard does not recognize finger taps any longer. I can klick the keys using the mouse, but I cannot type with finger taps. The touch screen device of the thinkpad X230t is otherwise working well. I can use the touch screen to steer the mouse pointer over onbboard's window, but I cannot "press" the keys using finger taps.
This makes onboard useless on the thinkpad X230t. Please fix.

Hi, could you post the output of
xsetwacom --list
That may print nothing, from what I can see the X230t doesn't have a wacom touch screen, but I'd like to be sure.
Then please try the updated Onbord from our snapshot PPA at /launchpad. net/~onboard/ +archive/ snapshots
https:/
There's a chance that the recent touch fixes help you too. See /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ onboard/ +bug/1297692

If you can't type at first please reboot once and retry.
