Bug Description
Currently, all the .desktop files are parsed with every search request, which is sub-optimal. They should be parsed only once on startup and cached in memory, plus we may need to monitor apps directories with inotify to find out about new apps. Note that the scope may get killed at any time, but it's still worth to cache that data.
