Kupfer stops responding to keyboard input

Sometimes kupfer doesn't respond to the keyboard, specifically the [ENTER] key. I can use the arrow keys and type commands but it won't execute the commands.

After stopping and starting kupfer again it responds again.
Can't detect a particular action that makes kupfer behave in this way.

This bug also affects me, though it's behaviour is slightly different.

After a period Kupfer stops responding to some k/b input. As above, Kupfter is invoked correctly and continues to respond to arrow keys and the esc key. However, in my instance it stops responding to other k/b input, eg. typing the name of a program.

Exiting Kupfer (using mouse input) and restarting resumes normal operation for a while before the bug reappears.

The timing of when Kupfer stops responding to k/b appears random, sometimes it'll be hours, sometimes only a few min.
