Use /etc/mailname for default email

Bug Description

Let's say I have lots of people using bzr in a company. It'd be really nice if I could make bzr automatically use @companyname.com as the domain, without each user having to run bzr whoami. Right now, it does username@hostname-of-users-desktop, which isn't useful.

I'm not sure how standard /etc/mailname is, but it seems like it'd serve this purpose well (that is: if /etc/mailname exists, use it in preference to socket.gethostname() for the default email address domain).

I noticed this was discussed (with trivial patch attached) a couple of years ago. It didn't look like there was anyone saying it shouldn't be done, so I guess it just got dropped by mistake.

It's not exactly the same thing, but fixing this would probably fix bug 616878
