How to reproduce:
 1. Setting - Keyboard - Shortcuts - Navigation
 2. Disable the "Switch to workspace left" shortcut using backspace
 3. Close Setting application
 3. Go to sleep mode or reboot the computer

What should happen:
 The setting value should be "Disable"

What happens instead:
 The setting value is default value "Ctrl+Alt+Left"

Same problem here. My custom keyboard shortcuts are reset at reboot. It does not happen all the time, but it happens regularly enough to become annoying.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Yes can confirm this happens to me too. Does not matter if I use Compiz or Unity Tweak Tool, custom shortcuts as well as "Focus follows Mouse" get reset after a handle full of reboots.

This bug persists for me throughout the last 3 releases of ubuntu.
