Bug Description

Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
(3.13.0-24-generic #46-Ubuntu SMP Thu Apr 10 19:11:08 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux)

- Upgrade from 13.10 to 14.04 LTS
- Screensaver configured to trigger after 5 minutes, and requires password to unlock
- Screensaver triggers
- User name is shown with prompt to enter password. User is an LDAP user.
- User enters correct password
- Error 'Invalid password, please try again' appears
- User selects 'Switch Account' from top right and returns to login screen (greeter)
- User enters correct password
- Session is resumed

Conclusion: light-locker is not correct authenticating users who are defined in LDAP.

"gentent passwd" returns the user with the correct UID. All other aspects of the system are operating as pre-upgrade condition

affects: light-locker (Ubuntu) → unity
