[0.91 Tutorial Review] issues with "Basic" tutorial

During the review[1] for the 0.91 release, the following issues were identified for the Basic tutorial:

* Uses old label for the menu item formerly called 'File > New' -> in trunk now called 'File > New > Default'
* Should we add something on document templates?
* Should we add something on the new Select Same feature?
* All shortcuts should show the same modifiers older (Shift+Ctrl+Alt+Key). One inverts Shift and Ctrl : Ctrl+Shift+A.

Regarding
"* Should we add something on document templates?"

Since there is an FAQ on custom document templates, I think it would be helpful to have an "official" response.

In the proposed new User FAQ (i.e. splitting faq in 2 -- user and developer) that I'm working on (http://staging.inkscape.org/en/brynns-user-faq/, and specifically http://staging.inkscape.org/en/brynns-user-faq/#How_to_create_custom_document_templates) I've made links to both:

 -- the manual (which is quite brief) (http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Customize-Files.html#Customize-Files-Templates)
and
 -- Prokoudine's article in LGW (http://libregraphicsworld.org/blog/entry/using-templates-in-inkscape)

Those certainly should suffice for the time being. But I think fuller, official instructions, would be nice.

Marking this as Fix Released now, as a discussion led to a permanent solution for updating documentation on the live website.
Brynn, could you bump the documentation team about your proposals concerning the official tutorials, just so they won't get lost? They have now taken on the responsibility for the tutorials on the web site, too, and those are kept in sync automatically with their work.
