[kde] dist-upgrade.py: cannot connect to X server during upgrade from feisty to gutsy tribe 4 using sudo

I'm running sudo adept_manager --version-upgrade for upgrade my feisty to gutsy.
On clicking version upgrade in graphical form, at the end of process when i've to click to finish, it download a package(maybe gutsy repository) and isn't go to the next step.
The error is that:

Thanks for your report. Please try to upgrade following this procedure and post the output. Give Alt+F2 or Run Command in KMenu. Type the command "kdesu adept_manager --version-upgrade" (without quotes obviously). Then follow the next steps, if the application works. Thanks again.

The right command is : kdesu "adept_manager --version-upgrade" , with quotes, because without quotes the tags --version-upgrade it was recognised a kdesu's option!

Si, sono italiano. Your command is correct, sorry. If you don't receive errors with this command, it's probably a problem of sudo and update-manager. Please try to use sudo adept_manager without --version-upgrade options and post the result. Do you have problem also using other command with sudo?

Nono, non ho nessun problema con sudo. Funziona tutto correttamente.
