Firefox "Del.icio.us Bookmarks" plugin fails

Binary package hint: firefox

Using 07.10 Alpha Tribe 4, installed official "Del.icio.us Bookmarks" plugin into Firefox 2.0.0.6 using Tools -> Add-ons. On restart, the plugin's setup wizard began. On step 2 of 4, the two links "Create new account" and "Login existing user" could be clicked, but nothing happened. Next button was disabled; the only working option is the Cancel button, which uninstalls the plugin.

"firefox -debug" reported no information.

Work-around: Start firefox, go to del.icio.us, and log in. THEN install plug-in and restart. Next button will be enabled and wizard can be run to completion.

Also tried older "Del.icio.us Buttons" plugin, and it worked fine. Tried same plugin on Fiesty Fawn's Firefox 2.0.0.6 and had no problems.

Can you reproduce/redo this with a fresh profile (e.g. create a new
user account and start firefox when logged in with that account).
