try hda-jack-sense -a

to check all your jacks report Jack status correctly

seem your BIOS set Misc bit (bit 8 of pin default) which disable Jack detection of all jacks at rear panel

disable auto mute won't work as expected if you are using pulseaudio

control.46 {
  iface CARD
  name 'Front Headphone Jack'
  value true
  comment {
   access read
   type BOOLEAN
   count 1
  }
 }

do your computer have two line in (blue) jacks at front panel and rear panel ?

Hi, (sorry for the late answer)

Yes it does have a blue(ish),a pink and a green ones.

I'm not an expert on this in fact I dont know much about computers,
someone told me to experiement ubuntu and I did...everything I do here
is based on pure curiosity and a huge dose of "luck"...

Best regards

Alex
