Tribe 4 LiveCD boots with HUGE fonts and icons

When booting the live cd (XFX GeForce 7600GS HDMI 1920*1080) I get an absolutely HUGE font and very large icons (aspect seems to be "correct" for 640*480). I see this bug has been reported in tribe #3 but has been connected to the "intel" chipset.

I am unable to continue installation because the installation wizard does not fit on screen. When I try to change resolution
it does not really help ;)

I don't know what the Tribe 4 Live CD is, but during LiveCD I get the same exact problem. I have an Emachines T3958. Thank you.
