Bug Description
I just Follow the steps in the link http://
Could not calculate the upgrade
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.
This can be caused by:
* Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu
If none of this applies, then please report this bug using the
command 'ubuntu-bug ubuntu-
Executing the command lsb_release -a
I got
LSB Version: core-2.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 13.10
Release: 13.10
Codename: saucy
I already tried the commands
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get Update
sudo apt-get Upgrade
in order to determine if my current Ubuntu version should have to be upgraded prior to jump to the 14.04 version
I expect to have a troublefree upgrade, but the same error that I got using the Software Updater, I received from the command sudo do-release-upgrade -d

You seem to have installed the cinnamon package on Ubuntu 13.10. Unfortunately, that package is not available yet for 14.04. To upgrade to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS you'll need to either wait for a fix for cinnamon to be available or uninstall the package and then upgrade.
