Bug Description

Ubuntu Software Center wont install .deb files when ya attempt to install the *.deb of any sort it don't respond to and don't do any thing.

this seems to happen to 3.15 RC2(64-bit) <http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.15-rc2-trusty/>

which in 3.14 (64-bit) (latest) seems to work fine <http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.14-trusty/>

This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem. From a terminal window please run:

apport-collect 1313218

and then change the status of the bug to 'Confirmed'.

Ensure that you are running the latest version of aptdaemon (1.1.1-1ubuntu5) as that should fix this issue. If after updating aptdaemon you are still running into this issue, feel free to unmark this as a dupe of bug #1290228.
