Joe Bowen, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p xorg 1312254

Please ensure you have xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes button for attaching additional debugging information. As well, please note given that the information from the prior release is already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one would not be helpful.

Thank you for your understanding.

I've added the apport-collect on my desktop, I won't be able to install the development version. Currently I still am having an issue with xorg but it's slightly different. The issue when this started was it freezing and needing to reboot (or kill and restart lightdm). I changed some things around and tried to reinstall display drivers. For a while I had a memory leak but changing video drivers (and video cards) seemed to fix that. Now the issue is, after being on for a while, the GUI will act "sluggish". The mouse will move smoothly but moving a window or opening a program is sluggish in the GUI. I figure it must be something to do with display drivers but I haven't had a lot of time to work on it, I just deal with it by restarting every few days. Something to note, when I opened this buy, my desktop had an nvidia card, it now has an AMD/ATI card.
