AWN Sometimes Appears Underneath Windows

Additionally it seems after some hours of use AWN will start appearing below other windows when the bar usually comes up on top of them. I use the autohide feature. I am not sure if this has anything to do with it.

Hi there, can you reliably reproduce this? What is you panel set-up? Which window manager are running? This may be an issue where the WM is not keeping Awn 'above' other windows.

This bug is difficult to reproduce at will. I usually just notice that it occurs after many hours of use. I have tried to force it to happen by maximizing windows, running full screen apps, activating the screensaver etc... but nothing I try seems to cause the bug. It happens when I am not looking ;) - I'll keep an eye out for it and write more here when I figure out a cause ;)

Could you also add which window manager you are using, and compositor (if separate).

Oh sorry about that. I am using Gnome, Compiz 0.5.1-0.5.2 and Emerarld window decorator.

I think this may be to do with compiz not properly dealing with the window hints when the window is raised again, as I can't reproduce with Xcompmgr + Metacity...

Postponing this for after 0.2.4, specifically when the single-window code is part of core. It should be automatically be fixed at this point.

This is definitely auto-hide related, should be fixed in the 0.4 rewrite.
