Bug Description
I recently installed ubuntu 14.04.
I realized that sometimes, fonts can get blurry. I'm a user of ubuntu 12.04 for 2 years and this didn't happen on precise.
Trying to know when fonts get a little blurry, I discovered that in gedit, fonts look very nice when gedit is not compelled to show a scrolling bar (short text), and that fonts look a little blurry and their colour change a little bit when gedit has to show a scrolling bar (long text).
I join a screen capture and 2 files so you can try for yourself and view the difference.
(you have to zoom a bit to see it)
The fonts can get somewhat blurry too on occasion in evolution mail.
