compiz: CPU usage 100% after fresh install with just sytem monitor open

Bug Description

My hardware is:

Motherboard
  - ASUS A8V-MX 939 VIA K8M800 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Onboard Video Chipset
  - S3 Graphics UniChrome Pro IGP
RAM
  - 1 GB
CPU
  - Athlon 64

After fresh installation I noticed the computer to be very laggy. So i ran system monitor and CPU was running at 100%, then checked process, compiz takes huge CPU % when even moving mouse.

It would be great if someone help fix this for me to use UBUNTU. Thanks.

You are probably running in software rendering mode which uses your CPU for the rendering and there really isn't anything we can do about that. Please do an "apport-collect 1311262" just to make sure.

thank you for the reply. but i am new and i browsed about apport collect and i am unsure i should do it. also can i collect it from a live cd of ubuntu 14.04? hope you can help me work this out.
