Bug Description

I was trying to install ubuntu from the new image from my usb pen drive which I created with dd
sudo dd if=ubuntu-image.iso of=/dev/pendrive bs=4K

synced and rebooted and installation started. just after the partitioning step and asked the installer to *install now* it crashed suddenly.

It looks like your pen drive may be corrupt. Please run the check cd option from the boot menu.
