Series that have colons in the name do not get created as collections

Bug Description

Calibre version: 1.33 [64bit]
Kobo firmware: 3.2.0
Plugin: 2.2.14

No error message is shown by Calibre. Problem detected when opening Collections on the device after adding books that have series with a colon to it.

Calibre debug log is attached.

After sending the book, did you eject your reader and reconnect it? I don't see that in the log you gave me. Updating series only happens for books on the device when it's connected, and if you delete and re-add a book you must eject and reconnect the reader.

Chalk this one up for user error. I had "Delete Empty Bookshelves" checked but "Create Bookshelves" was not, so one bookshelf for a book I re-added stayed but the others were deleted so I thought the shelf creation was working properly for one kind of series but not another.
