Puppet looking for update-alternatives in another path

Bug Description

Just installed puppet from Ubuntu repos and it is showing this error:

That looks like a bug with the puppet-alternatives module. There is already a github issue open at https://github.com/adrienthebo/puppet-alternatives/pull/3 that looks like it covers this bug.

It looks like puppet-alternatives is not shipped with puppet. I don't see it in http://docs.puppetlabs.com/references/latest/type.html. So I presume this is not a bug in Ubuntu itself? If I'm wrong, please explain and set the bug status back to New. Thanks!
