Bug Description

I Upgrade the OS from 12.04 to 14.04 and getting issue with sound as sometime it works and after a while sound is not coming to speaker as it is working fine with headphone.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Still I am facing such problems as i have checked alasamixer settings but as i already informed you that speaker stop working after sometime.

I have unmute all on alsamixer but still getting same issue. please let me know any solution so that it can be resolved.
