I've noticed that this issue appeared after enabling 16 cores for DS0 in linux-linaro (this came from
the 1st update of the HiSilicon topic for this cycle). These changes have been rolled back on last Friday
evening (the Hisilicon LT did one more update there topic), and the Sunday's (April 13) build boots OK:
