Bug Description

The lib32gcj8, lib32gcj8-dbg and lib32gcj8-dev packages are missing from the gutsy archive.

Note that these are required dependancies of other packages already in the archive (for instance):

ia32-java-gcj-compat
lib32gcj-bc

lib32gcj8 is available from the experimental debian archive:

http://packages.debian.org/experimental/libs/lib32gcj8

This is the list of packages which are about to be removed because they are not built any more ("NBS"):

Bah, it ate my previous comment.

The libraries you mention are not built from source any more and thus disappeared. Likewise for lib32gcj-bc, that should disappear. However, lib32gcj7-dev still depends on that, so it should be fixed first.

Matthias, it seems ia32-java-gcj-compat needs a transition, too?

removed by intent. lib32gcj-bc isn't built anymore, ia32-java-gcj-compat will be dropped as well.

Changed in gcj-4.1:
assignee: nobody → doko
status: New → Won't Fix
