The session indicator has no icon in the Panel in the Unity 8 Desktop Preview session.

Also, it appears in the indicator nav bar as 'indicator-session' instead of having some user-friendly title.

The "no icon" issue is resolved in utopic (though it has a colored icon, that's bug #1332548), the title one is an indicator-session issue ... do we have recommendation from design on what to use as a title?

What is "the indicator nav bar"? Where exactly do you see a title instead of the icon?

So, on a phone/tablet you don't have the session menu, and on a PC you don't swipe down to show the indicator bar. When does this problem occur?

i assume this is for pocket desktop which uses the phone UI but in desktop context by default

@mpt, currently unity8 in desktop mode (pocket pc or desktop) has indicator swiping out showing the bar...

The desktop session now uses the same System indicator and icon as the desktop personality everywhere else. Marking as fix released.
