Bug Description
Once you have applied for a moderated group/team, there is no way to cancel such a "request".
Users who mistakenly "join" groups, or who change their minds about such groups must wait until they are approved or denied access.
Users should have the ability to cancel their own pending memberships requests.
This bug coincides with bug #112293.
