Bug Description

In the Monitor and Display section of Kubuntu's System Settings, I am able to select a different screen resolution to change to, but I after clicking "apply," no changes take place (the countdown timer is shown, however). I have tried several different resolutions, and I have tried in normal-user mode as well as Administrator mode.

I am able to change my screen resolution using the "krandrtray" utility - it works just fine. I'm also able to change resolution in GNOME.

Driver: NVidia
Card: GeForce GO 7300
Monitor: Dell Inspiron 1505n 1680x1050
