Cannot define google chrome as default browser. Not sure if problem is with other browsers besides firefox as well.

Bug Description

Problem existed at least as far back as 12.10 as well, I know from memory. Been meaning to ask about this. Every time I open the browser, it asks to set the default, so I do, and then Chrome also asks; after the browser is closed, the process restarts.
