Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

... firefox/adobeflashplugin crashed

I loaded the flashplayer plugin when trying to play a google video. I'm on a live cd . I have a Dell with Media Direct installed. Ubuntu was responding to the volume buttons on the front of the Dell E1505. After the video was playing I tried to adjust the volume with the Media Direct panel button when everything crashed. The "flashplayer about-settings" window opened just before it crashed.

Thank you johnn1949 for your report,

You stated that you are using a live cd, so if you have any chance of installing ubuntu, would you please try to reproduce this issue with current firefox version (2.0.0.6).

Also seems that you have installed adobe's flashplugin directly instead of using the ubuntu packaged version (flashplugin-nonfree); then again, if you have the opportunity to test ubuntu as hd installed, please use the packaged version to check if the problem can be reproduced.

Thank you in advance.
