Can not expand Terminal after snapping to side

Bug Description
If you ctrl + super + left/right a terminal it will snap as expected. Unfortunately, you can not then further expand the terminal to the left/right.
This behavior is not present in all applications, at least. Chrome doesn't suffer from it. Pidgin/ the terminal do.

Confirmed on Luna. Cannot manually expand window after snapping to left or right.
Confirmed with Pantheon Terminal 0.2.4.1
