transparent background when gnome-tweak-tool used in Unity

Bug Description

Gnome-tweak-tool interface is messed up in Unity - no decorations and the background is completely transparent.

Please see the enclose screenshot for what I'm seeing.

I also get same transparent problem. I am using Ubuntu 14.04 64bit OS with all updates installed.

May be a "generic GNOME applications" problem as I have found the same issue with the (compiled from 0.7 branch) Corebird twitter client.

The problem is something to do with the ambience GTK+ theme. If you use this very tool to switch to Adwaita for example, it'll work fine (but also make everything butt ugly :))

Sorry - not fine. Better. "Slightly more working", with fewer transparent parts.

under gnome-panel (flashback session), background is transparent and the window cannot be resized with the mouse. when the window border is clicked, the window context menu appears instead.

Workaround :

$ gsettings set com.canonical.desktop.interface scrollbar-mode normal

It seems odd but this worked for me
