Hello,

I've also got a Toshiba P100. In order to get sound under Feisty, you need to correct your DSDT, following instructions at this address : (http://sle.homelinux.net/wiki/doku.php?id=ubuntu-7.04:dsdt (it's in french...).

The HDA Intel chipset will then start gracefully thanks to the DSDT correction but, under Gutsy, this doesn't work anymore : there is a regression concerning this sound chip and I have found no solution as of now.

Salut,
