Bug Description

After switching to non-latin keyboard layout I can't write with (russian) letters - latin ones are still being written.
Affected version: 3.0.1, from Ubuntu' repo and the external package.

Vesion 2.8.0 works fine though (the external package from http://qt-project.org/downloads ). Version 3.0.1 works fine in Ubuntu Raring.

If I change the keyboard layout to russian when editor is not running, then starting it, I could type only in russian.

The curious thing is the behaviour is not the same with romanian language - romanian characters are not typed at all, in any case...
