Bug Description

kalarm requires mysql-client-core-5.5. This can't be installed when mysql-server-5.6 and mysql-client-core-5.6 are installed on the system. As a consequence, kalarm cannot be installed at all, if you do not want to downgrade mysql.

Can we agree, that kalarm is not supported on Ubuntu any more? This should be fixed or the kalarm package removed from the Ubuntu repositories!

Not sure how this is happening since kalarm at best will pull in akonadi-server which will pull in the mysql backend which depends on mysql-client-core-5.5 OR mysql-client-core-5.6 .

Could you run the following command and attach the output here : sudo apt-get -o Debug::pkgProblemResolver=true install kalarm
