I believe this is actually a bug presentation of the results in the Unity shell. Some quick debugging in HUD reveals that "enter" does, indeed, have the single, correct, result:

QUERY = ("enter")
suggestion "<b>Enter</b> Location… (Go)"

It seems like the Unity widget that presents the results doesn't always handle resizing to only having a single result. If you repeatedly switch between "ente" and "enter", you will see it sometimes showing no results, and sometimes showing a single result.

Could you try if that's still an issue with current versions? I can't reproduce here on wily

Still reproducable by repeatedly switching between "enter locat" and "enter locati" when in the file explorer.

Note that the widget is a totally different size when there are genuinely no results.
