Bug Description

There is no HDMI audio

Steps:
1. Install 12.04.4, boot to desktop.
2. Try to play a sound through the HDMI port

Expected result:
* HDMI audio works fine.

Actual result:
* No HDMI output source available in Sound Settings

Did you enable the HDMI audio manually? If not, then this is a duplicate of bug 864735.

Hello Daniel,
I think the HDMI audio was intentionally disabled, adding "radeon.audiio=1" into the grub parameter could solve this.
Or you can install the proprietary driver.
