Bug Description

This started with my old laptop yesterday when after updating there were no desktop icons, launcher or HUD. I can only access Firefox due to apparmor opening it automatically to report the bug. I can't access a terminal except in recovery mode or do anything else.

After a reboot, everything seems to be OK.
