Bug Description

Hi, after disconnecting a second screen (via HDMI) from my laptop I can not see the floating icon anymore on the first screen (build-in). I can not resolve this issue by reconnection the second screen and move the icon back to the first screen.

I have another question:
I found another bug (onboad does not shows up to unlock the screen). Do I have to report this bug against the onboard package or another one?

Best regards

With both monitors connected, could you please post the output of
$ xrandr
$ gsettings list-recursively org.onboard.icon-palette
$ gsettings get org.onboard.window force-to-top

It might be that the second monitor is connected left of the built-in screen. This would move the icon out of view when you disconnect and the desktop origin jumps by the size of the HDMI monitor.

You'll probably get the icon back with
$ gsettings reset-recursively org.onboard.icon-palette.landscape

The lock screen issue is new for me too. I just realized earlier today that there is no screen keyboard. Gnome-screen-saver used to be responsible for screen locking, but apparently this changed at some point after Trusty's feature freeze. I don't know what plans there are for Onboard integration, we haven't been notified. I don't know what package is responsible yet either, it might be unity itself.
