Bug Description
After the recent update of LMDE the on-screen keyboard started misbehaving. When I press a key the keyboard instantly disappears, and no character is sent to the application. When I first activate the keyboard it does work. But when I bring it back to type something it won't work.
Switching off and on the on-screen keyboard once or twice makes X hang. (It can be killed and re-started from the console.)
I didn't have these problems before the upgrade.
I am using 64-bit LMDE on a Fujitsu T902 convertible tablet laptop (kernel is 3.11-2-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.11.8-1 (2013-11-13) x86_64 GNU/Linux).
