Bug Description

Pretty much yet another update request, to help with fixing some of the issues related with mono's ability to compile code and also updating it's core libraries.

Unless an Ubuntu mono maintainer informs me that this is a safe backport, I will not perform it because new language stack can cause undesired breakages.
