Thanks for your bug report!

Can you please read http://people.ubuntu.com/~gunnarhj/keyboard-layouts.html, which will be included in Ubuntu Help for 14.04.

If that doesn't help, you need to describe in more detail what you did and what "doesn't work" means.

Please check out the attached screenshot.

* Do you have Korean (Hangul) in the list of input sources in the "Text Entry" window?

* Do you see the Hangul symbol at the top of the screen?

Actually I can write Korean. At least I think I can - it sure is not English characters appearing on the screen when I type. ;-)

Also, can you please tell us which Ubuntu version you are using?

I will like to add that this doesn't seem to be only for Korean language as I am having the exact problem with Burmese language. Ibus won't input the characters after upgrade from 13.10 to 14.04. Using Character Map works fine.

Update: After reinstalling iBus, adding, removing and reinstalling its related keyboard layout in ibus-setup, I was able to type my language again after a few combinations of those action sequences. Hope this info might be useful in debugging or solving the problem.
