/usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc must be created before fonts are installed to get xfonts-artwiz working

Adolfo, I understand that, my issue is the same. I think its an issue with the preinstall script which should the stuff. Lemme re-check what the status is with the latest hardy & report back the same.

Sorry, i meant, as you say, that is a preinstall script bug.

   no issues, while trying to get to bottom of the things, I got another bug 193757. Who says free software is not interesting :)
