Bug Description

[ The bug ]
I am using Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit desktop on HP 630. After the OS is booted and is ready, the brightness is full and I reduce it to its minimum value. After about 5 minutes, the brightness becomes full again. I can manually change the brightness again, and it does change even now and persist once the brightness has been changed the second time.

[ What I expected to happen ]
The brightness once reduced should never change untill I change it manually.

[ What acutally happens ]
After the machine is booted, the brightness is full, I change its value to minimum and after about 5 minutes the brightness again becomes full.

Same problem here. It would also be nice if actual brightness could be remembered between reboots.
