Clock hands and round clock face not necessary and add clutter

The round shape and the clock hands in the mainView dont really serve a purpose. For the stopwatch and countdown it really makes sense but for the clock itself I would say that a more minimalistic approach with just the digital time would make more sense.

Thanks for your input. You are spot on the suggestion of removing the clock hands ;). You can find the latest clock app designs at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/CoreApps/Clock/Design. The round shape is still there since we want to use that to display color gradients which dynamically change based on the time of the day. The color gradients reflect the outside view.
