openvpn connection shows Wifi "fan" when using wired connection

Bug Description

While establishing an openvpn connection EVEN when using a wired connection (Arrow pointing up and down), the connection indicator is flashing and showing the Wifi "fan" symbol -- which is just plain wrong.
