gummi crashes when closing

ubuntu 14.04.
Writing with Gummi, then saving and closing, freezes on closing and doesnt save the file properly. the .swp file is still correct but the .tex file is not.
on restart .swp file can be included and works again untill closing.

possible data loss if .swp file gets corrupted

Happens also here, on a clean installation of Ubuntu 14.04 64bit and the installation of Gummi done via the Software-Center of Ubuntu.
