Bug Description

Issue description:
when running dhclient on IP-over-Infiniband interface the process immediately fails - no packets are sent at all.
Reproduction:
# dhclient -v ib0

And what happens if you do set a dhcp-client-identifier as the error tells you to?

It will send the DHCP request with that specified client-ID. But this approach requires net/sys-admin to reconfigure dhclient.conf in advance.
