Bug Description

[regression] XMir frame skip/ordering glitches.

On trusty, install package "ubuntu-desktop-mir" and reboot. Now your X server is running inside Mir. But dragging windows around seem to skip and stutter and tear.

I started with two monitors when the problem first appeared. Now turning off one of them the problem remains.

I just noticed the trusty version of Mir is missing the fix for bug 1288570. And I remember in testing bug 1288570 that could cause the same kind of skips. This might be bug 1288570. I'll have to import the fix and try it on trusty XMir.

Yep, seems to be fixed with the fix for bug 1288570 coming in Mir 0.1.7.
