Bug Description

On main screen the "center" dot is not in the center of the origami folds.
Similarly, whilst the gradient of the folds is the same as the grid-pattern diagonal, the dots don't line up on the fold.
On the off-screen the grid circle-of-friends is not in the center of the origami fold.

Picture to be attached.

Unity greeter just scales and trims the image so it fits the monitor resolution. So it is likely to misalign if the original image is not the same aspect ratio as your monitor. In saying that, I would expect for a fairly common resolution like mine (1366x768) it should align pretty well.

The source image is 2560x1600 which is 16:10 and my resolution is 16:9. So it will be cropped. Also, a quick on-screen measure with a ruler shows the main cross is off centre so it is not aligned with the grid.

Indeed the stock wallpaper center origami fold, is not in the center.

About scaling and trimming, i'd expect the image to be centered first and then proportionately scaled up/down and trimmed.

Here is how the wallpaper looks on my laptop, with common resolution of 1600x900

unity-greeter aligns dots correctly, as with a wiggled wallpaper, the dots hit the marks (unlike Ellen at the Oscars).
