Bug Description
Binary package hint: knetworkmanager
Steps to reproduce:
Log in as user 1.
Select a wireless network with a WEP key in knetworkmanager.
Enter the WEP key in the dialog, let it save to kwallet.
Switch to user 2.
Lose the connection in some way (suspend the computer or go out of range of the network).
When the computer resumes or you come back in range, select the same network in knetworkmanager.
What should happen:
The "Connect to Wireless Network" dialog should be displayed to user 2, or the WEP key should be fetched from user 2's kwallet.
What happens:
User 2 sees the connection progress icon with 0% progress. Switching back to user 1 shows a connection dialog for each time user 2 selected the network.
Other information:
User 2 can connect by selecting "Connect to other wireless network" and entering the information manually, but the information is not saved. On my system, user 1 is a sudoer account, while user 2 is not.
I'm using Kubuntu Feisty and knetworkmanager 0.1.
Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta or later? (I can't reproduce it.)
