Crashes when updating links

Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

This is simple enough. I save a file with 10+ linked slides (from 4+ files). Then I open, it asks if I want to update links, sure I do, *bam*.

Happens on every document I create with links, and is cross-platform.

It may be worth pointing out that when it tries to "recover" my document, it pulls up a blank OpenOffice.org Writer document.

Seems like the bug reports I've submitted about openoffice.org get quickly ignored. I need at least some idea of what to do if this was the wrong place to go to.
